The weather’s been steadily getting warmer in NYC, but there’s still some vestigial chilliness that’s not ready to go away just yet. The good news is that it’s once again time for the Coffee & Tea Festival to hit the city! This year’s festival will again be held at the Brooklyn Expo Center on March 19th and 20th; you can still get tickets here. The event is indoors, so no worries about weather/temperature.
If you’re an enthusiast like me, you can choose to get the VIP tickets which will grant you earlier access into the event (to beat the crowds; strangers’ elbows really post a hazard when you’re juggling countless samples of piping hot liquid) as well as a gift bag!
If you’re planning to go, be prepared to be bombarded with generous samples of everything from tea to honey to cold-brewed coffee. And, on a related note, be prepared to have a very full bladder for most of the event as a result. (There’s a bathroom. Don’t worry.) Besides tea and coffee, you can also expect to find things like drinkware, condiments, snacks, and even the odd crafts booth or two. View a full list of exhibitors here.
If you don’t live in the area and can’t make it, stay tuned for a report of this year’s festival after I return! (They also head to Philly in November and June)
Here are some photos from the website from past events.
