Remember the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer? I enjoyed it, along with another bunch of people, and EA and Bioware are looking to emulate its success.
Announced via IGN, the dynamics seem to be more of a dungeon crawler experience, instead of the wave based battles fought across the galaxy in ME3. The dungeons will be randomly generated, and heroes will be characters. Bioware has decided to voice the characters and have them banter among themselves.
As for expansion, Scylla Costa told IGN that Bioware hopes fans “commit to a multiplayer service. That means lots of DLC, lots of new heroes and levels”, and that Bioware has not set a subscription or premium service, saying “It’s all free DLC for everyone.” Whether this means all the DLC will be free, or that everyone has equal opportunity to get everything was unclear to me.
