Fatal Frame, the surival horror series that originated on the PS2 and centers around exorcisms and ghosts, is getting a new entry in the series for the Wii U. Prepare to continuously poop yourself with Tecmo’s announcement of Fatal Frame: The Black-Haired Shrine Maiden. The game will make use of the gamepad by having players use it to seek out spirits that are not visible on screen, presumably by holding it up like a camera for shinrei shashin or “spirit ghost photography”. Japanese gamers can stock up on adult diapers for the crapfest for the September 27th release. No word on a western release yet.
Japan is also getting a live action movie based on the series. Check out the trailer!
