Yep, that is, in fact, a thing.
So, we all remember Twitch Plays Pokemon, yeah? That was a fun couple of weeks
all hail Helix. Well, it seems that people WILL flock to anything Pokemon, as a couple of developers from the University of Chicago decided to aim a motion tracking camera on a fish, map each section of the tank into a command, and let the fish play Pokemon.
It seems to be working, the fish (called Grayson) has apparently left the house, gotten his starter (a Charmander named AAAABBK), and beaten the rival. All this in 160~ hours.
As I was writting this, I tuned in, mostly to know what even happens during. Honestly, very little, Grayson is still in Pallet Town, just wandering. As I watched, viewership went from 6,000~ to 9,821. I don’t get it, but hey, if you like it, let us know in the comments bellow, or tweet us @NerdworkTweets!
