Still no heists, though.
After a few months of waiting, Rockstar has finally announced release dates for Grand Theft Auto V on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, as well as some details of what bringing up the games to next gen has done.
Graphically speaking, the games will run at a higher resolution, and the draw distance has increased. In addition players can expect
– New weapons, vehicles and activities
– Additional wildlife
– Denser traffic
– New foliage system
– Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more”
As well as new radio stations featuring over 100 new songs, as well as new DJ mixes across 17 different radio stations.
If you preorder the game, you receive $1,000,000 in in-game cash, spread 50/50 between the storyline characters and your online persona, which you can import to whatever platform you have (say, 360 to PS4).
GTA Online is also receiving an upgrade, including every update available now at time of release. The player count is also increasing to 30 players.
GTA V will launch on next gen consoles on November 18th, and the PC version will drop on January 27th.
While I did enjoy playing GTA V
even though I’m cheap and didn’t play online I probably won’t be picking up the updated versions mostly cause I’m cheap What I’m really wondering is where the heists are, weren’t they promised at launch? Maybe they’ll be a surprise for the release. Looking forward to the new gen releases? Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments below, or give us a shout @NerdworkTweets!
