For those gamers that are PS4 Owners that migrated from the Xbox 360 & did not own a PS3, you’re in for a world traversing, treasure hunting treat. The Uncharted:Nathan Drake Collection packages Nathan Drake’s 3 adventures and gets a remastered visual boost in the form of 1080P resolution, upgraded textures & models and gameplay at 60FPS. A piece of criticism that seems to have been addressed is that enemies won’t be bullet sponges this time around across the trilogy. Bluepoint games is in charge of the collection this time and if you played the a Metal Gear Legacy collection or Titanfall on Xbox 360 then you’re familiar with their work. One omission though that is disappointing is the multiplayer in UC2 & 3 is not included , but the collection does get you into the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta coming soon.
Visuals aren’t the only new element in this set. All previously released skins character skins will be available, as well as new game modes such as crushing difficulty, speed run mode and exploration mode. We’ll also be getting a photo mode, which allowed us to get some awesome in- game shots in other games (The Last of Us Remastered and Shadows of Mordor).
I’ll be picking my copy up on release day on October 9th, & do yourself a favor if you’ve never experienced this trilogy.
